The founder and chairman of DFHK Lawrence Ma said that this scheme involves a procedure of serious quality control and compliance with international standards of ethical business conduct, which allows buyers to be confident in buying natural diamonds and diamonds. About 330 traders in precious stones and jewelry agreed to adopt a new scheme, Ma said. Benjamin Chau, deputy general manager of the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKDTC), agreed that the new initiative will improve the competitiveness of the Hong Kong diamond industry.
