One of India's largest jewelery retailers PC Jewellers plans to open 200 new points of sale by 2019, the company's expansion costs will amount to $ 242 million. The retailer will open 100 own stores, and another 100 will be opened under a franchise agreement in cities of the third and fourth order. The company, which owns 50 own shops across the country, will begin selling rights to franchise activities in the next financial year.
Also within 3-4 months PC Jeweller wants to launch a new subbrand. The company already owns several similar brands: a separate brand of Flexia; Spectrum, which is engaged in the manufacture of jewelry with rhinestones; and also Le Reve, whose target audience is young people.
In the next financial year, the company plans to increase its turnover by 20%. Last year, the company's revenues amounted to $ 840 million. At the moment, the share of gold in the annual sales of PC Jeweller is 70%, and diamonds - 30%. The company expects an increase in the share of diamonds to 35-38% in the next 5 years.
