The Antwerpsche Diamantkring (ADK) exchange will hold new Days of rough diamonds on February 25-26, 2015 in the ADK trading floor. All members of the World Federation of Diamond Bourses (WFDB) are invited to the event.
The first Days of rough diamonds were held last November. ADK President Freddy Inzlicht said: "This is an excellent opportunity to attract the attention of the public to our stock exchange. On the first event, the trading platform was filled with merchants demonstrating the goods and closing deals .According to the presence of almost two thousand diamond companies working in the diamond segment of Antwerp, this type of event provides traders, manufacturers and dealers with a broad platform to meet, ensure interaction, renew ties, establish new contacts and Do business efficiently. "
"In November, our stock exchange organized the first Days of rough diamonds, which was so successful that the February event will be held for two days, on February 25 and 26, and will be open to all WFDB members and their clients," said Michael Vaughan (Michael Vaughan), board member of ADK and chairman of the organizing committee.
Inzlicht noted that the ADK initiative is an integral part of the global marketing efforts of Antwerp. "Antwerp is the heart of the world diamond and diamond trade, and about 80% of the world's diamonds are traded and sold in Antwerp every year, however, now is a difficult time, and to stay on top, we need to step up our advertising and marketing efforts, so we invite all members of the WFDB to participate in our event on February 25-26, "ADK President concluded.
Registration for the event is not required, however for the entrance visitors will be asked to present a member card of the exchange, affiliated with WFDB.
