Seven of the world's leading jewelry houses will showcase their rarest diamonds and fine jewelry in Southern California to the publication of the book "Dreams of Diamonds," the largest book ever published about these stones. In total, the exhibition, which will be held from April 29 to May 11 at the headquarters of the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) in Carlsbad, California, will be presented to 25 pieces with diamonds - from shoes encrusted with 1527 carats of diamonds to 50 , 05 carat diamond pear-shaped cut type D, purity IF.
"The creators of the book" Dreams of Diamonds "were able to capture amazing diamonds in fascinating, unearthly environments," says Terri Ottaway, Curator of the GIA Museum. "This exhibition is an ode to the amazing world of diamonds and we will be happy to share the skill of the seven largest jewelry houses with visitors ".
The British duo of photographer and designer (Alastair Laidlaw) and Christine Marsden (Christine Marsden) created the book "Dreams about diamonds", combining their passion for nature and art and love for the brilliance of diamonds. The production of a large book weighing about 14 kg took six years. Each image in it - in itself a work of art, representing diamonds and jewelry with them in an unusual setting. Precious stones and products were provided by 12 leading world diamantaires and designers, seven of whom sent their works for display at the GIA exhibition. Many of the stones imprinted on the photo have been certified in this organization.
Together, jewelry houses will show 25 of their most notable works. More than 4 thousand carats of diamonds from Adler, Chatila, Chow Tai Fook, Diacore, Diarough, Mouawad and MUNNU The Gem Palace will be shown to the public at the forthcoming exhibition.
