Rapaport Auctions, a leading sales company for used diamonds, on March 2 opened an auction of "mele" diamonds in Hong Kong, where buyers will be offered more than 98 thousand carats of precious stones. The auction will present the used and carefully sorted lots of diamonds of all shapes, sizes and quality grades, obtained from thousands of retailers, pawnshops and processing enterprises around the world.
The stones will be inspected at the AsiaWorld exhibition in Hong Kong on March 2-5, 2015.
A wide range of presented stones and the possibility of acquiring such a significant volume of diamond products has become the basis of increased interest from buyers. Pass for inspection is provided only by appointment.
Rapaport Group's Director for International Trading Operations, Ezi Rapaport, said: "We are waiting for high demand for used diamonds at our auction because of artificially high prices for rough diamonds."
To participate in the auction, companies are invited to contact the local office of Rapaport.
