Last year Helzberg Diamonds experimented with laboratory-grown diamonds. It has become the largest jewelry retailer, who did this. But now the company has changed its mind.
"We tested unmounted laboratory-grown diamonds [last year] with modest results, and decided now not to move in this direction", - said in a statement.
Nevertheless, Helzberg continues to sell grown in a lab colored stones. And apparently, grown in the laboratory diamonds can still be found in other well-known retailers, including a Sam's Club, Rogers & Hollands and Robbins Brothers.
