Chaim Even-Zohar (Chaim Even-Zohar), editor of the portal Diamond Intelligence Briefs (DIB Online), warned WFDB President Ernie Blom (Ernie Blom) of the fraudulent activities of the Indian company. Posing as a buyer, he realized that the asking price for the fraudulent certified synthetic diamonds was $ 100 per carat and above. However, each stone weighing 0.15 carats offered more authentic with the annual report for GIA natural stones.
DIB has published a list of synthetic diamond carat in size from 0.5 to 1.00 carats, which presumably can be supplied with real ACCOUNTS GIA, and traded as authentic natural diamonds with GIA certificate (or possibly counterfeit certificates). WFDB published a list on its website. Diamantaires, in the arms of which are diamonds with these certifications are likely to own a real natural stones, and perhaps they have no reason to worry, however, reports duplicates with the same numbers may still be present on the market.
Everyone who is faced with a synthetic stones, certificates that match the certificate to natural diamonds, can be contacted directly with Tom Moses (Tom Moses) senior vice president of the GIA, the address (email: tmoses@gia.edu ).
WFDB President Ernie Blom reiterated that his organization is a zero tolerance policy towards any unsolved or falsely certified synthetic diamonds. Blom will discuss further measures to combat this serious threat to the diamond industry.
