The French-Israeli auction house Tzoffey's 1818 announced that it will exhibit a huge diamond weighing 1,000 carats for the forthcoming tender within the International Rough Diamond Week (IRDW). IRDW will be held at the Israeli Diamond Exchange (IDE) from 9 to 13 March 2014. Earlier last week, Tzoffey's reported on its plans to sell at auction another large raw diamond, weighing more than 600 carats.
"Only a few days ago we were happy to announce that we will tender a 600-carat diamond, but now I'm sure that this diamond will be the star of the whole event," said Tzoffey's president Avner Sofiov. "We want to preserve the intrigue and disclose further details concerning this exceptional stone, later."
