The Israeli Diamond Exchange (IDE) has issued an invitation for the International Diamond Week in Israel, which will be held on February 8-12, 2015.
"We intend to make the International Diamond Week in Israel the most successful of all those weeks that have passed in the last three years," said the honorary president of the Israeli Diamond Exchange Shmuel Schnitzer at the opening of the World Diamond Conference that ended recently in New Delhi, India.
"The International Diamond Week is an ideal platform for dialogue between sellers and buyers of diamond products from around the world and the joint development of their business.We already cooperate with organizations such as the Diamond Dealers Club of New York (DDC) and Antwerp Diamond Bourse: While in India, I will hold talks with representatives of other diamond exchanges affiliated with the World Federation of Diamond Bourses (WFDB), and we will give them an invitation to our February Mero riyatie in Israel, "- said Schnitzer.
WFDB President Ernest Blom, invited to the International Diamond Week as an honored guest, noted that the forthcoming event is waiting with enthusiasm. "As president of the WFDB, I can only welcome initiatives like this, and we are constantly looking for new ways to strengthen the relationship between more than 30,000 members of diamond exchanges around the world and the International Diamond Week in Israel will be the best way to strengthen these ties, he noted.
The International Diamond Week in Israel is organized in close cooperation with the Diamond Dealers Club of New York and the Antwerp Diamond Exchange. Dozens of representatives of both organizations will attend in February at an event organized by the Israeli Diamond Exchange.
