The Antwerp World Diamond Center (AWDC) will represent the products of 109 diamond traders in the Antwerp diamond pavilion at the Hong Kong International Diamond, Gem & Pearl Show, HKTDC, March 6, 2015. For the second year in a row, the exhibition has organized a separate exposition for precious stones. In the first year, the event was attended by more than 28 thousand professional buyers from all over the set, which overnight made it one of the most successful shows in the industry.
The exhibition is extremely important for diamond dealers in Antwerp, as Hong Kong remains the most important center for deliveries of diamonds with a market volume that is second only to the United States. Representatives of both small and large companies will show a huge number of individual stones with an excellent price-quality ratio.
The future of the diamond industry looks very bright with forecasts that the Chinese gemstone market will double in the next decade, and diamantaires from Antwerp want to have established ties with local buyers when that happens.
