Almost half of the richest Chinese citizens prefer to invest in jewelry and jade products, according to a recent report, the text of which is quoted by JNA.
The report on people with the highest level of net wealth in China for 2014-2015 indicates that in the period from 2008 to 2013 the number of Chinese citizens in possession of assets with a value of at least $ 80.7 million grew from 1,000 to 17,000 people, according to the China Daily.
Most of the richest Chinese citizens are optimistic about the current economic situation in the country, 45% of them prefer to invest in jewelry and jade products. In addition, the report says that 29% of them invest in the collection of calligraphy and paintings, while more than 80% invest in future projects abroad.
The report on the people with the highest level of net wealth in China for 2014-2015 was released by China Minsheng Bank jointly with the Hurun Research Institute.
