The exhibition VicenzaOro Winter ended on a very positive note. The event continues to expand, which is noticeable both in terms of retail space volumes and in the number of customers. This year, 9 pavilions, which took the participants of Vicenza, presented visitors about 1,500 different brands. According to some estimates, the exhibition was visited by more than 30,000 people from 106 countries, and the number of international buyers increased by 6% compared to last year. On this occasion, the event site in Vicenza was expanded and modernized, in particular, a new closed parking was created, pavilions were updated.
VicenzaOro Winter 2014 focused its work on two key topics: technology and responsibility. Operators of the jewelry industry are convinced that it is technologies that will play a key role in the revolution of the Western jewelry industry, which gave impetus to the 2008 crisis. Only through the use of effective production technologies and the creation of bold innovative designs, European manufacturers can compete with emerging markets.
Within the framework of the Jewelery Technology Forum, the latest scientific developments in the field of jewelry technology and technology were presented. Discussions were held around how to expand the range of jewelry created by using a laser and using innovative alloys containing gold and platinum.
This year, for the 37th time, the T-Gold Exhibition was held, organized on the same site and in parallel with VicenzaOro and dedicated to equipment and tools for jewelry production. 123 companies presented their modern specialized equipment at the exhibition, confirming the relevance and strategic importance of this sector for the golden area of Vicenza.
A big attention was drawn to the exhibition devoted to 3D printing technologies, entitled "About the future". According to popular belief, 3D printing has become one of the most important technologies of the 21st century. It is expected that it will be most widely in demand in the jewelry industry.
