The Dubai Multi Commodities Center (DMCC) and the World Diamond Mark (WDM) signed a memorandum of understanding with the aim of increasing consumer confidence and satisfaction within the diamond and jewelry industry.
DMCC pledged to support WDM's goals and objectives to ensure a healthy growth of the diamond and jewelry industry in key consumer markets, and WDM recognized DMCC as a partner and participant in the WDM project for the implementation of the World Diamond Brand program in the Persian Gulf region.
General Director of DMCC Gautam Sashittal said that DMCC and Dubai have been actively developing over the past decade, having entered the top three of the world's largest diamond centers, and they are ready for further cooperation with diamond-producing countries and diamond consumers, which will ensure the growth of trade turnover through Dubai. Sashittal noted that he sees great potential in partnership with the World Diamond Brand.
