A unique "Rainbow Collection" consisting of 300 fantasy diamonds owned by the famous Belgian diamond designer Eddy Elzas will take a place of honor at the Israeli Diamond Exchange (IDE) trading floor during the American and International Diamond Week in Israel (US) & International Diamond Week in Israel). This event is scheduled from April 6 to April 10.
As the IDE press service reported, at the end of this event the collection will be on display for the general public in the Harry Oppenheimer Diamond Museum.
According to Eddie Alsace, who started collecting his collection about 40 years ago, now it will be exhibited for the 57th time. "From a historical point of view, this collection is priceless. I began to collect it at a time when fantasy colored diamonds were considered to be stones of inferior quality. These days, of course, are long gone! "- says the jeweler.
Alsace is looking forward to showing the collection at the American and International Diamond Week in Israel, which, in his opinion, is the ideal platform for the demonstration of this unique palette of fashionable colored diamonds, including three rare red stones.
