The Israeli Diamond Exchange (IDE) is preparing again for the American and International Diamond Week in Israel, appointing this event for the second week of April, according to a press release received by Rough & Polished via e-mail.
The next diamond week will be held from 6 to 10 April, after the International Fair for the purchase of jewelry in Freiburg (Germany) and the BaselWorld fair in Basel (Switzerland). In addition, in March IDE will organize the first International Diamond Week (International Rough Diamond Week).
Similar to the two previous events of this unique diamond buying platform, a wide range of diamonds worth more than $ 1 billion from hundreds of exhibitors - Israeli manufacturers and diamond dealers - will be presented at IDE's trading floors in the American and International Diamond Week.
Registered buyers from abroad will again be able to book hotels at reduced rates, and it is expected that a large delegation of the Diamond Dealers Club of New York will arrive at the event.
Moti Fluk, chairman of the organizing committee of the diamond week, said that the experience of previous American and international diamond weeks in Israel showed that they can not only serve as marketing platforms, but also provide opportunities to expand the links between key high-ranking participants.
