The Organizing Committee of the Antwerp Diamond Trade Fair (ADTF) announced that the next, sixth session of this event will be held from February 1 to 3, 2015. The Organizing Committee expects that it will attract hundreds of buyers, among whom there will be a significant group of people who are attending the fair for the first time.
ADTF enjoys extensive industry support and is a key international event for buyers, mainly representing the jewelry industry and trade.
"During the first five years of the fair, we have become the number one event for diamond buyers around the world among those that are exclusively invited, and the fair primarily attracts jewelry manufacturers and designers, but also diamond wholesalers," said David Pienika (David Pienica), member of the organizing committee of ADTF.
Ernest Blom, president of the World Federation of Diamond Bourses (WFDB), for his part, said that the fair is an important, add-value event for member exchanges of the federation. "ADTF does a great job in promoting sales of diamonds and is an important role model for the global diamond industry and trade," he said.
Shmuel Schnitzer, president of the Israel Diamond Exchange (IDE) and honorary president of WFDB, also spoke in support of ADTF. "Many of our members are exhibitors at the fair through their companies in Antwerp.The unique business model of ADTF is recognized as a very effective and sophisticated tool for reaching the end-use market.Together, exchanges, with their various business models, contribute to the well-being of the whole our industry and our joint activities, and this is a mutually beneficial solution for the entire diamond business community, "he said.
