Lucapa Diamonds plans to float its shares on the London Stock Exchange AIM despite the uncertainty caused by the decision of the UK to leave the EU (Brexit).
As noted by the Australian company, a logical step would be to enter it on the London Stock Exchange, as Lucapa expanding its operations.
"Financial markets know a lot about diamonds and to invest in Africa" - said General Director of Lucapa Vezeroll Stephen (Stephen Wetherall) in an interview with The Telegraph.
"We are considering listing on AIM, and so I'm here to see what the demand for them" - he added.
Vezeroll also said that investors' reaction has been very positive, although due to the British decision to withdraw from the EU on the results of the referendum, he doubted the correctness of the company's current strategy.
"Life goes on, traders have capital that they would like to invest," - he continues.
"In fact, the UK out of the EU has made the shares of some companies is very cheap and attractive for purchase", - concluded Vezeroll.
Lucapa recently began drilling program to define kimberlite sources of large and valuable alluvial diamond project with Lulo (Lulo) in Angola.

Kennady Diamonds Inc. announced that the final results of sampling with the Faraday kimberlite-2 (Faraday 2) show an overall content of the commercial quality diamonds in the amount of 3.04 carats per tonne, IDEX Online reported.
ReplyDeleteThe company said that by core drilling on the project has been received for a total of 6.4 tonnes of kimberlite, which were subsequently processed by alkaline fusion in lab Geoanaliticheskoy Saskatchewan Research Council (Saskatchewan Research Council Geoanalytical Laboratories, SRC ).
Kennady recognized properties of the three largest diamonds found in the sample: diamond weighing 1.43 carats - tinted, transparent tetrageksaedr without inclusions, transparent diamond weighing 1.02 carats with cracks and inclusions, and a fragment of a stone weighing 0.46-carats with light shade and inclusions.
"In the course of delineation drilling, it was found that the Faraday kimberlite area of over 390 square meters, and on the west side, it may extend even further. The content of "commercial quality" diamonds in the amount of more than 3 carats per ton confirms that Faraday kimberlite-2 can be a resource with a high content of diamonds, "- said President and CEO Patrick Evans Kennady (Patrick Evans).
